Thanksgiving has long been my favorite holiday. Fresh off of a colorful Fall Season comes the season of giving thanks for everything we have been blessed with. Thanksgiving is the holiday that refutes commercialism. It is the one holiday where the warmth of the house and the gathering of friends and family combine with the watching or playing of football and the smell of Awesome food aromas all day long, nothing more and nothing less!

Pennsylvania News ~ New Law Goes into Effect January 1, 2011 ~ Sprinkler Systems - 11/17/10 07:38 AM
Does anyone think that "Mandatory Sprinkler Systems" are really necessary?? I mean besides our esteemed elected officials who created this Law. Whether you are for this law or against it, if action isn't taken it will become effective with the New Year. I personally don't think it should be mandated. If a client would like it installed in their home then they should most definitely have that option but to force builder to do this , especially in a very precarious housing market, seems a little like one step forward and five steps back to me.

Well the weatherman overall is right on schedule this year. With a few last glimpses of above average temps surrounding us this week one cannot help but think, "When is it coming?" Anyone who lives here in the Pocono Mountains knows how quickly winter can move in here! One day it can reach upper 40's and the next day you can be covered up to your thighs with the white stuff!
