Well the numbers are in for the third quarter in Monroe County here in the Pocono Mountains and they fully support the trends we've been seeing out there. In a snapshot compared to last year the one year change in CLOSED SALES is up 6.1%, The one year change in HOMES FOR SALE ( Inventory) is DOWN 13% along with the one year change in MEDIAN SALES PRICE down 5.3%.
This tells me a couple things. I am guessing the downward drift of sales prices is probably one of the last we will see, particuarly if inventory continues to shrink. SELLERS … (0 comments)
