Lurking in the shadows of the current Florida Property Tax issues, Florida Governor Charlie Crist (R) has been traveling with several key Florida Legislators through South America working different trade agreements.  The most lucrative of which would have created an enormous trade agreement with Brazil to import Ethanol into the United States. 
Florida would serve as the National Headquarters for this effort potentially bringing billions in profits to the state to help fill our tax coffers when they are depleted from property tax cuts.  Unfortunately, the deal with Petrobras seems to be on the back burner -- indefinitely.

realtor: Florida Mortgage | Short Sales do not always mean that the Realtor does not get paid! - 11/04/07 11:30 AM
After reading a lot about short sales and those people that love or loathe them, one theme keeps coming up that makes me understand new topics for Continuing Education that would be exceedingly timely right now.
So many Realtors show their clients short sale or bank owned properties just to see the Mortgage Broker, Bank, Title Attorney and Buyer's personal attorneys get paid... but the Realtor either sees their typical commission cut dramatically or sees it disappear altogether.  It doesn't always happen, but it is not uncommon!

Possibly my favorite class as an MBA was Organizational Behavior.  One thing it taught me was that as a manager you can look at an organization from the outside and see the personalities and learn to deal with and manage all the personality types.
After watching several episodes of Sesame Street with my 15 month old son, I started thinking about the characters and who was like them in real life!  I furthered that with comparing them to our beloved characters on Sesame Street!!
