A couple of days ago I was MeMe'd by Mike Mueller (a lender from Walnut Creek in CA, which is also part of the San Francisco Bay area). Mike's MeMe post was incredible! I had no idea he was a closet DeadHead!

Los Gatos has the coolest stuff, particularly in the oldest part of town: great shops, cafes, restaurants, bars with live music, beautiful parks, free music series and on and on.And, like a lot of older towns, it has a few residents that just didn't want to leave when they died. A few places are haunted.I collect ghost stories and am looking to sleuth out a few more places in (and near) Los Gatos. Do you happen to know of any? For Mother's Day, I really wanted to be indulged.
I wanted to drive an hour to a restaurant along the coast and enjoy brunch with a view of the Pacific Ocean. I didn't want to go to just any nice restaurant, I wanted to go to the Moss Beach Distillery. Why there? It happens to be haunted. Nortiously haunted, actually.

Last night I took an unofficial Ghost Tour of San Jose with a friend of mine who donates her tours of Haunted San Jose for charity. We went along for a practice run and it was loads of fun. The van was packed with her neighbors and friends, one of whom likes staying at haunted hotels.Not me. That's where I draw the line. I really, really don't want to sleep in a haunted place.
