Here's a great article from the Saturday, June 2nd Washington Post.  It provides some insight into what home builders are willing to do to sell their homes and empty houses, such as spending up to $250,000 to furnish and decorate.  The article focuses on interior decorators being hired to stage just a few rooms, but stagers can do it, too!  I also found it very iteresting how designers are creating vignette's based on the buyers in that particular market.  The builders and real estate agents provide the designers with their market research, and the designers stage the houses to appeal to the specific potential buyers, such as … (1 comments)
