Are you using Google Webmaster Tools on for your blog?

 
To get a good overview of your sites performance you should have both Google Analytics AND Webmaster Tools on your site.
One of the best plugins for building sitemaps is Google XML Sitemaps, which will generate a special XML sitemap which will help search engines like Google, Yahoo, Bing and Ask.com to better index your blog. Another plugin I use to add Google Analytics and the Webmaster Tools code is Google Integration Toolkit.
