Good Shepherd School, In Golden Valley, MN is having its annual fundraiser tonight. It is a nice enough event, with cocktails, dinner, and an auction, and its intent to raise funds to improve the school's educational offerings is an admirable cause worth support.
The school, however, in an act that I feel lacked adequate consideration, has chosen to auction off a Golden Retriever puppy. The pup will go to the highest bidder, perhaps the one who has made some questionable choices in the cocktail department earlier in the evening.
