tourism: Alice's Restaurant is Coming to Myrtle Beach! - 06/24/08 11:10 AM
Remember Alice's Restaurant? Back in the 1960's, it was a wildly popular song, then turned into a movie. Pretty soon, you'll be able to actually get a table at the famed "Alice's Restaurant" when it opens at Hard Rock Park. Folk legend Arlo Guthrie stopped in last week to see how things were going, as the restuarant continues to take shape.
Hard Rock Park - committed to celebrating the spirit of rock ‘n' roll - is the perfect venue to honor Guthrie and his world-famous 18 minute long musical monologue. The restaurant will be park's only table-service restaurant ("sit down, sit in, you've (3 comments)
tourism: The Hard Rock Park is Open! But... - 06/11/08 05:18 PM
The long-awaited Hard Rock Park has finally opened. As Myrtle Beach's first full-scale theme park, excitement is high and the park expects to draw more than 40,000 visitors each day. It's sure to make the top five list of what to do in Myrtle Beach for many returning and new visitors to this beachfront town. But there is another option in Myrtle Beach that should not be forgotten with all of the hoopla surrounding the "New Kid" in town. Our area is also home to a seaside gem, Family Kingdom. More than 40 years ago, when Family Kingdom was built, seaside (0 comments)
tourism: We have Moved!! - 02/19/08 06:22 PM
After beginning this company in our tiny home office, and spending a few years in a very comfortable, albeit rented, office space, I am pleased to announce that Price & Company Realty has a new home! As of Monday, February 11, Price & Company has moved, and is now located at: 1310 Azalea Court, Suites H & J, Myrtle Beach SC 29577. The phone numbers, fax numbers, and website information remains the same. Much to our client's relief, we are not far from our previous location. On the same street, and just a few hundred feet north, we are located in the Azalea Woods complex (0 comments)
tourism: Don't Forget Myrtle Beach! - 02/19/08 04:39 PM
Now that most of the country is gripped in cold, dreary, and sometime snowy weather, now is the time to think about the warm, cozy breezes of someplace tropical... When it comes time to plan your next vacation, or decide on your final retirement or relocation destination, don't forget Myrtle Beach, South Carolina! Not only do we offer a warm, temperate climate year round, but we offer affordable real estate, world-class attractions, and miles upon miles of beautiful white sand beaches! Myrtle Beach has been on Yahoo's "Word's Best Beach" list since 2003, and in April 2007, it beat out exotic locales like Miami, (2 comments)
tourism: Myrtle Beach is #1! Really! - 08/13/07 04:55 PM
Which two words are more popular, according to search engine Yahoo - Lindsay Lohan or Myrtle Beach? Yahoo reported last week that the term "Myrtle Beach" was the top hit on its search engine, ahead of top searches like Lindsay Lohan and Britney Spears. In addition, AOL reported that Myrtle Beach is the most-searched beach in the United States. And if that weren't enough, a national survey ranked Myrtle Beach as the second most popular family summer leisure destination, right behind Orlando, Florida. We're in good company! "All of this positive attention could encourage more visitors to consider Myrtle Beach," said (0 comments)
tourism: The draw of Myrtle Beach... - 07/03/07 02:07 PM
Savvy real estate investors, retirees and second-home buyers know that Myrtle Beach's outlook remains singularly positive even in the shadow of recent disappointing sales numbers across the nation. Why? Our broad, sandy beaches, multitude of attractions, and affordable prices have drawn vacationers to the Myrtle Beach area since the early 1900s. These days, however, the low-slung family motels, aging amusement parks, and low-cost retail establishments that created what used to be known as the 'Redneck Riviera' are being replaced. Myrtle Beach and its sister city, North Myrtle Beach, are hotbeds of luxury residential and high-end retail redevelopment. Our 14 million visitors (1 comments)
tourism: 30,000 people per day to Myrtle Beach - 06/30/07 11:08 AM

The preview center which opened this past April showcases this $400 million world-class attraction with over 40 rides, games and displays. This will be the biggest and most exciting grand opening that Myrtle Beach has experienced in a very long time. Hard Rock Park will have a tremendous economic impact on every aspect of life in Myrtle Beach - including real estate. If you own investment property in Myrtle Beach, (0 comments)
