I was brought up with the strange and wonderful notion that all things ARE possible. We can all do anything we set our minds to.

However, the sad reality is dreams don’t just happen without on-going effort…..at least not for most of us.

Everything starts with a vision. That is, having a clear picture in your mind of where you want to go and how you intend to get there. An essential start is a written business plan. “Of course you knew that!!”

Vision is what carried men to the moon, brought upon the civil rights movement, championed incredible medical discoveries, etc.. None of these advances would have been possible without vision.

The same holds true for any line of endeavor…..including real estate sales. Once we have a clear vision of our goals the next step is to use that endless drive in all of us to make your vision a reality.

Experts to tell us to believe our vision has already come true...... and then work backwards step by step to make success a reality. There’s a psychological reasoning behind this which I won’t bore you with.

I’m a spry guy of 65 who comfortably retired at 50 and now does projects for fun and profit. Mostly fun. From my earliest recollections I’ve always had a vision of what I wanted and how to get there……no matter how unlikely the vision appeared. Careful written planning, dogged determination and fierce focus can turn personal visions of the future into truth. But…….and it’s a big “BUT”…… ya gotta do it. Ain’t nobody gonna do it for you.
