fishing: Cedar Key Fishing Pier Finally Being Repaired - 01/14/08 03:35 PM

The fishing pier aka "the big dock" is finally being repaired. It has been closed from storm damage a few years back. This was a great disappointment to the locals and visitors who love Cedar Key fishing. The pier is one of the main attractions of the island, and tourism has suffered.
