The Northwest Multiple Listing Service (NWMLS) will lead the nation as the first major MLS to make comparable sold data available to real estate firms for public use. The information displayed on JohnLScott.com will largely be limited to what people can currently access through public records, but in a format that is more relevant to a buyer or seller's needs and easier to understand.

 

There are two ways to access comparable sold data on JohnLScott.com. The first is by address; simply enter an address and property characteristics, such as square footage, bedrooms, bathrooms, etc., and the system will identify the ten closest "sold homes" that have characteristics meeting your criteria. The second is a radius search around a home that is currently for sale. From the property detail page of an active listing, you can click a link to see the ten closest "sold homes" that are similar to the property you are viewing.

The availability of sold data is another tool that will empower you to make informed decisions with confidence. It is also an enhancement to the existing suite of features and functionality available on JohnLScott.com, such as guided tours, interactive mapping, email notification, and radius searches. Now, more than ever, JohnLScott.com is the comprehensive resource for all of your home buying and selling needs.
