Coach KC™ Via Pam Robbins (Prudential Florida Realty): Great Marketing Opportunity...Send Out Cards! With so many options for marketing yourself, many agents turn to the internet. The internet is a great cost effective way to stay in touch, but to add that extra level of personalized marketing you can really rise above the rest. I came across Send Out Cards about a year ago. What a great idea for the many Realtors who do not have a personalized contact system in place. With one click of your mouse you (0 comments)
Via Carra Riley CRB, CRS, GRI (Carra Riley Inc.- Real Estate Consultant, Author, Speaker ): Ten Best Buyer Behavior Practices Many things we read in the blogosphere inspire creative writing ideas. I recently read a blog post about an agent who felt so abused by the actions of a buyer she thought a "Buyer Code of Ethics" should be initiated. I too, have felt the sting of a buyer not thinking the real estate agent was a "human being" so decided to create a Best Buyer Behavior Practice list. If you are a serious buyer and would like the (1 comments)
Via Herb Johnson (REMAX Affiliates): Now that were are on the bust side of the last real estate boom, the housing market is entering into a completely new environment. REO's (Bank Owned Properties) and distressed properties litter the market. Stricter loan underwriting rules apply too. Cash is king and appreciation isn't guaranteed. But buying is still possible if you understand what's changed. To help you stay on the positive side of the equation, here's a look at just some of those changes. • You need an equity stake. Here's some outstanding information to help you help your sellers! Coach KC™ Via Connie Tebyani, Platinum Home Staging Los Angeles and Ventura County (Platinum Home Staging, Inc. : RESA-Pro): Recently I had a very frank phone call with a local Realtor Friend whom does a large volume in our area and we often "bounce" ideas off each other in regards to business, marketing, blogging, etc. Even though we speak frequently, I asked him point blank during the conversation, "Since you know all the benefits of my Industry (Home Staging) why is it that you've never used one?" His reply was simply, "...because some Home (2 comments)
Dedication Counts! - 06/06/10 03:34 PM
When you make up in your mind that something may not work, you have relegated it to failure. Just by merely thinking it may not work, the amount of effort that you will put forth is limited. Depending upon how likely you feel it's success will be will subconsciously determine the amount and the quality of your efforts. Most things that are legitimate and worthwile require work... Usually lots of work. If you want to be successful in your efforts you must wholeheartedly believe in the future success of your efforts, otherwise you are doomed to failure. If you really want (0 comments)
Illogical In Illogical Out! - 06/06/10 02:47 PM
In addition to people doing business with people they Know, Like, and Trust. They also seek information and advice from people they know, like, and trust. This is done many times even though the sought after information and advice is foreign to that person. Also, people are alway moved emotionally although their action may be totally illogical. Imagine if the brightness (wattage) and type was stamped on our heads like light bulbs. That surely would make it a lot simpler to determine who could shed light, and how much on a given subject. Very often people will seek advice from people (4 comments)

As you may have heard me say again, and again: "Emotion ALWAYS trumps logic, and this is why we will sometimes reduce our position to that of the "Child." So when communicating with others be sure to take control of emotions, standfast in the (2 comments)
