Could the old saying, "people love to buy, but hate to be sold", really be so true? I think so. Right or wrong, our culture has conditioned us to equate selling with gamesmanship. Thus, when buying situations arise, most try to avoid any living, breathing being with a name tag...atleast until we've had the chance to do a little research of our own. That's why low touch items as QR codes can become so hot, so fast. When we do deal with a real person,we prefer to buy from someone we consider a friend.
