inspiration: What will you create today? By Feng Shui Manhattan - 12/10/14 11:59 AM
What will you create today?
Can you answer this question with conviction? Are you living on purpose and with direction? Are you exploring your options to the fullest extent; or could you be doing a lot better of a job by leaps and bounds?
Whatever your situation, you have power to create new beauty, love and art in each thing that you do. Very many of us dwell on what we don't have; therefore, we usually create stress and negativity instead of the positivity and light we could. What will you choose to create with your hours today or tomorrow? I … (15 comments)

You never know when you will make a lasting impression.
Tonight I met with a new small group for the first time.  Nine of us met to start a Bible study on community.  The focus of the first meeting is getting to know each other.  We shared a meal, watched a video and then each of us shared a little about … (11 comments)

Lou proves that you really do have all the time you need. You just have time taken up by things you could possibly do without: reality TV, video games, potato chip eating. They all can be replaced at least some of the time. :)
Thanks, Lou!

Speechless Sunday - Rainbow Eucalyptus trees in upcountry Maui
You can see a stand of these on the famous Road to Hana, and others scattered around the island. They have beautiful multi-colored smooth bark that's very eye catching! These were at a home for sale in Kula 200, a great established subdivision in Pukalani/Kula.

Life Lessons - Learn to Be Still
Learn from your core that life will go on without your worrying.  Be still and listen to what life and the Universe look like, sound like—what it does or does not do. It is that it is. It ebbs and flows and rises and falls. Business will happen if it is to be done and through the right actions that go with what is needed.
Be still and know how to feel your heartbeat and hear your breath. See your life's visions as a painting. Take in. Drink in things small and large. Be … (16 comments)

Whacky Weekend Memes: Follow Your Dreams

You probably have a big, monumental, unbelievable dream. It's a dream that is special and may be secret to you—something you love and hold in great value inside the depths of your soul. The key is to find a dream that you're great at objectively. Make it real, vibrant and lovely. Share it with those with common interests and if you fail, try something new or do it in a way. Just don't harp on what's unreachable. There are dreams that are reachable if you apply what you're skilled at to your true … (5 comments)

Feng Shui and Children:  A Lesson from My Late Mother from 2010

Drafted by Carole (2010)
As I watched my children growing up and go through all the phases that children do, I wasn't practicing Feng Shui back then. And although I'd heard and read about "The Law of Attraction," I'm not quite sure it had set in yet.
Laura's special passion, is to work with children. Her background in teaching and her knowledge of Feng Shui gives children a different way of seeing things....and believing in themselves. The younger the child, the easier it is to turn … (16 comments)
