new york: Predecessor Energy of the Pollock-Krasner House from a Feng Shui Perspective - 08/06/17 04:54 AM
Over the weekend I had the pleasure of visiting the Pollock-Krasner House in East Hampton, NY.  Having a Bachelor's in Fine Arts, this was truly a treat to see their home and barn in-person as this is where some of their most famous paintings were created.
What does the Pollock-Krasner House have to do with Feng Shui and predecessor energy? It's a great example for sharing how Feng Shui goes beyond just moving furniture and artwork selection. Predecessor energy referrers to the history of a space and investigate the type of energetic imprint placed onto the aura of a home, workspace, and objects.

Stepping into the farm home and barn of Pollock and Krasner, … (2 comments)

new york: Inside the World Trade Center PATH Station in New York City - 03/09/17 01:04 AM
New York City downtown's newest architectural landmark designed by architect Santiago Calatrava. Some will refer to him as a 'visionary theorist, philosopher and a true artist in the craft of engineering and architectonic expressionism" - source architect.com

What was Calatrava's inspiration?
His family and him moved to New York City after the events of September 11. Due to that, much of his inspiration was rooted in the permeation though the street of New York during that tragic moment in history, 9-11. This generated the deepest desire in Calatrava to build something exceptional, something that had the calming sense of peace and hope for future generations who walk though the space.
He also wanted to make sure navigation though the … (10 comments)

new york: Transition - 01/07/17 03:46 PM
Transitioning from the desert landscape of Death Valley, soaring above the clouds and finally landing in the snowy wonderland of New York. It has been some trip and now I call New York home for a month before heading back out to Los Angeles for work again in February. It boggles my mind how fast time moves. Each moment is so precious, do not take it for granted.

If you have never been to the "new" Yankee stadium, it's worth the trip at least once. No matter where you sit, that beautify of the stadium's design is that everyone has the best seat in the house. Tikets also range in price starting around $20.00.

Fun facts about Yankee Stadium:

new york: Planting Felids Flowers in Oyster Bay New York - 09/27/15 12:56 PM

The other day I had the pleasure of walking along the Planting Field's Dahlia Flower Garden path.  I embellished in what's known as a "walking meditation." This is when you simply walk, allowing your mind to lesson the chatter within your mind by moving your body and observing the rhythmic patterns of nature.
One of my favorite observations? Seeing a sleeping bumble bee on the heart of the flower.

Great Eats In New York City: Lillie's Times Square

new york: Ease Your Stress Levels by Doing One Thing at a Time - 11/20/14 05:06 PM

Ease Your Stress Levels by Doing One Thing at a Time

This is typical New York fashion to multitask on a daily basis. Studies show, this habit creates a 40% drop in productivity and it takes a longer amount of time to complete on task. Trying to "do it all" also contributes to an increase in our overall stress levels throughout the course of our assignments at work and daily activities.
Here is another interesting fact, trying to do too many things at once costs the global economy $450 billion annually. Do yourself a favor and the world, and try to attend to … (4 comments)
