A New York Feng Shui Consultant---and JUDGEMENT
Long before I ever became a Feng Shui Consultant in New York, my parents taught me not to judge others.  They associated with all types of people from all walks of life and I learned some valuable lessons growing up.
Whether you are a Feng Shui Consultant, A Realtor, a Home Stager or almost anything pertaining to Real Estate you work  with two things:  PEOPLE AND HOMES. Certainly we were taught again in Feng Shui that it is NOT our job to Judge anyone or their homes or businesses, these are their sacred spaces.

realtors: The MLS POLICE have arrived! Thank you, Newsday! - 02/14/09 09:21 PM
The MLS POLICE have arrived-FINALLY!! Thank you, Newsday.
Honestly, I don't like to criticize.  I have on occasion been wandering around through the MLS for Long Island-MLSLI-- for a while now and I honestly don't understand it.
We ARE in a depressed market right now.  We DO need to pull out all the stops in getting a home sold.  Some Realtors do, they do a fabulous job of marketing your home.  If you happened to miss Sally's blog, just LOOK what she does for her clients:  The First 24 Hours- Crucial Internet Strategy for Listings

I KNOW I'm not the only one this is happening to.  When I think of my Feng Shui Consultations and know I am meeting someone for the first time, I remember all the things I have to go over with them to give them the very best help.  It shouldn't surprise me after so many years of doing this wonderful work that there is one thing almost all my clients have in common:  I will meet them with a handshake and three short hours later, leave with a hug.

It's a wonderful feeling.  In that short time we have already … (26 comments)

realtors: Some Feng Shui Advice for that Diverse Market: by Your Feng Shui Long Island Consultant - 04/06/07 10:56 AM
This was originally posted months ago. I know there has been some questions lately regarding Feng Shui and a Diverse Market and thought I would repost this in case it was overlooked.
I know that many Agents are having a somewhat difficult time with the diversity of clients they are getting.  When targeting to a diverse market, both Asians and people of Indian Culture (where it is called Vaastu) are looking for different things.  Feng Shui is a broad area, but here's a few tips to get them IN the front door:
The FRONT door, in many cultures, is considered the "Mouth of … (10 comments)
