What the heck is POOL SURFING? Well, it is the newest trend (or should I say problem or should I say LIABILITY) in the world of foreclosures!
Apparently in foreclosure havens like California, Florida, Arizona, and Las Vegas there are two things that are becoming common: Foreclosures on home with pools...Thus the problem of Pool Surfing. The homes are deserted, the pools are just empty concrete bowls that once were sparkling azure and now are dull and faded........

Twenty years ago today, I started in this crazy business! I was going to do a cute post card with all my photos over the years, but am going to save that for the 25th!
Roses were delivered to my office today from the owners of our company, with a very nice note. When you think of working for one company for 20 years, that is actually a feat these days! I spent 19.75 years at the same office location! Just this September I moved to another of our offices closer to my new home in the burbs....I do love it!

To 2008 that is! Wow...it was a year...who would have thought at the end of the year there would be so many losses:
40l's, mutual funds, companies like Merrill Lynch, Shearson Lehman, from people like Paul Newmann and Charleton Heston to those boy scouts killed in an Iowa tornado, Bill Leinenkugel (from the brewing family), the founder of Trek bikes, (had to get in some Wisconsin people) the bombings in India, the middle east, the hurricans in the gulf, the real estate markets of MANY if not most communities, the big three on the edge of the cliff, losses of jobs by everyday … (5 comments)
