What IMPACT can HERO have donating his HEROCARE discount?
These are interesting times........challenging for everyone especially schools.
Schools have had budget cuts and have been forced to cut programs + activities with State and Federal budget cuts. Problem is it is trickling down to where it matters our future......our children's education.
Keep in mind these will be our FUTURE leaders!
This evening I dropped a HEROCARE check off to Fairview Elementary School during open house. The teacher whose classroom was picked by the Veteran was a bit surprised to say the least. I know he will put the funds to great … (2 comments)

SAOR Cleanup August 25th The Solano Association of Realtors performed a neighborhood cleanup right after the Weds morning meeting. The target was Springs Road in Vallejo Those who contributed were Realtors, Title reps, Home Warranty reps, Lenders as well as Web Solutions/ Marketing. Of course a heat wave hit the day before so even early morning was fairly warm (requiring a fresh shirt right afterwards). It was great to see the positive community responses during cleanup (at least two verbally saying Thank you) while we were cleaning up. If you were planning on 20% down to avoid Mortgage Insurance and are apprehensive of the job market use FHA + take the 16.5% saved in down payment for cash reserves or investments ( very safe of course). FHA changes for buyers with 3.5% down payment.
UFMIP will be reduced to 1.00% on all amortization terms.
Annual MIP will be increased to .9% for LTV's >95% and amortization terms >15 yrs
Here is a quick video explaining the changes MOST FHA buyers with down payments of 3.5% or under 5% will see.

HUD Announces MI changes effective September 7, 2010.
UFMIP will be reduced to 1.00% on all amortization terms.
Annual MIP will be increased to .9% for LTV's >95% and amortization terms >15 yrs.
Mortgagee letter to be released shortly.

How does a 2400ft climb in pumice and sand relate to the current Real Estate Market?
The climb to the Tahoe Rim Trail quickly reminded me to get either younger or in better shape. The views and amazing trails help to re-energize the spirit and soul.
Reflecting for a minute (and resting) it quickly reminded me that as a nation financially we are out of shape. However with a little training and soul searching we can quickly get back on track.
