real estate in manchester: I am a Full-Time Realtor. It is in my Bio and Resume - 12/08/13 10:14 PM
When I read Bryan Robertson's post back in September " Can We Stop using the term "Full-Time Real Estate Agent," it actually made me think whether to keep or   remove this "Full-time Realtor" tag from my resume.

But not to become contentious about his thoughts and stir any argument or deprecate anybody,  the "full-time realtor" stayed on.

Bryan did make excellent and valid points. Hence, the thought lingered for a while. However, while the term was still marinating in my resume, I met another real estate agent while doing an Open House. That day, I knew  and felt compelled … (9 comments)

real estate in manchester: Borrowed Time - 06/14/13 01:57 AM
Loan me some more days....
So that my shoes can lick the pavement until heels are worn
So that my car can drive on the roads to the spot we adore
So that my hands can swing the leash with joy
So that my fingers can straddle through your hair
So that the yard's soil can taste your waste
So that the bowl you own is filled with grace

Loan me some more nights
So that I can embrace you all like a mother to a child
So that I can hear you breathe when darkness falls
So that I … (5 comments)

real estate in manchester: Y I love Working with Generation Y Home Buyers - 10/10/11 02:03 AM
When you hear the word Gen Y, you associate this demographic with high tech devices and internet /cyber savviness. Understanding their behavior and buying patterns is critical as realtors if we are to cater to their real estate needs. Here are the reasons Y.

real estate in manchester: A Bite from the Big Apple - 10/07/11 12:05 AM
"Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma — which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary." SJ Isn't this quote by Steven Jobs poignant and introspective. It is so parallel to Abrahamn Lincoln's "At the end of the day, It is not the years in your life that count. it's … (4 comments)

real estate in manchester: What's holding you Back? - 09/09/11 03:41 AM
Regrets... we have a few or tons of it. Sometimes, as humans, we can't stop from retrospecting and ask what we could have done differently so that we would not be sulking in the couch, gnawing at nails with anxiety and self-pity. What if we did otherwise. There are countless of "what ifs" but the fact remains that what transpired is past and can't be undone. And crying over spilled milk is like living in the shadows of remnants worth burying in a bottomless pit.
I plead guilty to this act until I come across one of Tod Duncan's moving and … (3 comments)

real estate in manchester: It is the Book Week - 08/06/11 11:47 PM
Just like water, books are, or at least, have been, the sine qua non of life. Otherwise, we would be living in a world where primitive lifestyle is befitting. If you are reading this, chances are, you have indulged yourself in books voluntarily and mandatory to get to the point where you are now. Mandatory books could be textbooks in different stages of schooling. Leisure books could be fiction ranging from suspense/thriller, adventure, love stories and fantasies. Non-fiction encompasses history, culture, geography, biography, etc. This week is the celebration of the books. Whether you are a bibliophile or an occasional book reader, … (0 comments)
