Paging single men and women out there who want a date. CNN just released today a survey stating that women prefer to date men who own a home versus men who rent. And men feel the same way. "In a survey of 1,000 single people, more than a third of women and 18% of men said they would much rather date a homeowner than a renter." Realtors should give their sellers an idea of what the approximate proceeds from the sale of their property should be as part of their listing presentation because these are the costs that are normally overlooked in their decision making process or in the process as whole. The costs could entail an enormous amount of reduction from the proceeds and this is something we, as professionals, should inform them ahead of time.
