Eight years have passed since the tragic day of Sept 11, 2001. Those living in the DC area along with Americans across the country honored the victims and heroes of the 9/11 tragedy by serving their neighbors and communities as part of September 11 National Day of Service and Remembrance. Even though eight years have passed and September 11th has passed, for those living and working in the Washington DC area - it's never an unfitting time to reflect and remember that day and toll it has taken on our country and our fellow Americans across our nation
