The QR Code Debate May be Over!
I subscribe to LinkedIn. In one of the Groups, there has been an ongoing debate about whether to use QR Codes or not. The "nay-sayers" say it's a fad. The supporters toute the benefits. This has been going on for months and months. There are OVER 650 comments. REALLY!?!?!?
IS THIS QR CODE DEBATE DEBATABLE?
With just a little common sense applied, I may have ended the debate, at least one of the following comments is suggesting"Brad Rachielles for PRESIDENT". Here are my comments:

FHA Kiddie Condo Loan is Too Cool for School - 07/20/11 11:21 AM
Recently, I've had e-mail conversations with Rebekah Radice, a Colorado Springs loan officer, and have found her writing very refreshing. Today's post bears repeating for my local readers as there are so many great colleges and universities in this area with students that could take advantage of such a loan program. The beauty of this is that it is a FHA Loan program.
I'll be checking with my local lender today for more details.
Rebekah, thanks so much for allowing me to re-post your great article for my audience. Best of Success!

You know, you're expensive! - 07/16/11 01:25 PM
First impressions are so EXTREMELY important to the home selling process, and Alan May, a REALTOR(R) from Evanston, IL, has such a great way of presenting the reasoning for paying attention to the details, I just had to re-post this contribution. Thank you Alan for graciously permitting me to present this article to my readers and clients. Well done!

65 Ways To Use QR Codes for Real Estate.... FREE... AND WHY!
QR Codes are the least understood buzz words in real estate technology today. Everybody has heard of them. Most have seen them... even if they didn't know what they were or do. Tech guru's are using them as the lead-ins for seminars promising to demystify them for the masses. Why the hype?
They are NEW-FANGLED BAR CODES
BUT......
Anybody can create one... FREE They hold MUCH MORE INFORMATION than the old tech line-type bar codes. Anyone can print these QR Codes on almost anything. Their uses are limitless. Whatever … (8 comments)

Rancho Cucamonga, CA Real Estate Market Update - June, 2011 - 07/08/11 01:18 AM
Rancho Cucamonga, CA Real Estate Market Update - June, 2011
Rancho Cucamonga is nestled at the base of the foothills about 30 miles east of Los Angeles. The attraction of this community is that lifestyles are energetic and it is filled with attractions and things to do.
That may explain the robust real estate market in this area. With over 400 active listings in June, selection is a benefit. While average home prices are down from last year, June saw a 6.8% increase over last month in the average selling price, and decreasing days that homes are on the market.

Upland, CA Real Estate Market Update - July, 2011
Those that saw the summary statistics for my market area noted a wopping reduction in the Average Selling Price from the prior month of -14.3% in Upland. While clearly significant by itself, additional interpretation is necessary.
Here is "The Rest of the Story
What a condensed chart doesn't tell you is that the average size of the home sold in June, 2011 was down by 17.2% (2287 square feet in May to 1894 square feet in June). What looked like a terrible price reduction was actually a 3.5% INCREASE in the square … (0 comments)

Warm Is Good - Alive Is Better - New CA Law in Effect.
Back in January of this year, I wrote of the dangers of Carbon Monoxide Poisoning. If you missed it, take a chance to revisit this popular post and watch the video. Since then, there have been a number of great posts from around the country. Jay Markanich from VA chimed in with a great article on where to put a CO detector. That post answers questions that even the manufacturers leave out of the instructions.
SO, WHY REHASH THE CO DETECTOR THING?
Effective July 1, 2011, every home … (7 comments)
