10 Seller's Safety tips when selling your home in Virginia - 06/28/10 11:25 AM
For Sale by Owner or working with a professional Realtor while selling your home, you are exposed to a parade of strangers through your home. Majority of them may be perfectly safe, serious buyers but security measures are necessary to avoid any possible opportunity to invite crime at your door step. Internet & Sign posted outside can result in good and bad things when selling your home. Obvious good reason is (1 comments)

How to choose your options while purchasing a new construction in Virginia - 06/21/10 01:44 PM
Many of the builders have started stripping down on fancy standard options inorder to make the home price more affordable and attract large pool of buyers in the Virginia new homes market. Since the time to construct the home goes over the a period of 5-7 months the buyers do not shell out any money apart from the earnest money just like credit card and they can easily loose track on how much they have actually spend on the home by the time the home is completed. This gets misleading and stressful especially for a first time home buyer. When purchasing (0 comments)
Educate your sellers-" Please use lockbox!!! " - 06/21/10 12:29 PM
As a Realtor we all learn safety & security is utmost important for us, do we educate our clients about the same? Our seller may be first time seller or may have sold couple of homes in their lives. They are excited if someone wants to see their home since they are motivated sellers. I have educated sellers at every listing appointment " If someone rang the door bell and wanted to see the home since they were in the neighborhood looking for purchasing the home do not let the stranger inside your home" If they are home or working from (6 comments)
