One of the most wonderful things about the ActiveRain community is the people.
We have some terrific folks who really care about the quality of content that's here in the rain. And as of today, those that are so helpful are getting some new recognition from the community - their purple star recognizing them as SHOT MASTERS. Just what is a shot master you ask? Don't you just love it when the master minds here in the Rain put something out there but they don't really tell us about it? Well they did it again, and this caused me to do a second take:
Head over to your "MY HOME" tab and look - there it is! Right under your blog subscriptions!!! I'm very glad they included the (?) or for sure I wouldn't have had the slightest idea what it was... It's everywhere ~ and rightly so! It's important - going GREEN. It's on the news, the radio, billboards print ads and TV shows... all pointing to one topic - Global Warming.
It’s a big issue… after all people we have JUST ONE earth. And, we do have a responsibility to do our part and soften the impact of our lifestyles. There's a problem going around that I would like to see stopped - and that's folks that don't take the time to learn when to pull a permit when they are doing work around their home. I'm not sure if it's because they want to save $$, they don't know that they need to pull a permit, or they just don't care. I received a phone call from a prospective buyer this week. Ahh, Cary real estate... One of the best kept secrets it seems in the nation! But with all the attention Cary has been getting and with the influx of people relocating to the Triangle, it won't stay a secret for long!
