cary nc realtors: A Diamond in the... Diamonds - Chatham Hill Winery - 08/17/11 08:36 AM
A Diamond in the (...well) Diamonds - Chatham Hill Winery Yeah, Yeah, I know the saying goes A Diamond in the Rough, but I'm writing today about a winery in Cary, NC... the town of Cary itself is a Diamond so rough doesn't exactly apply. I'd heard about the winery from Dick Betts some time ago, and couldn't imagine that WE had one here. But lo and behold, located amongst businesses and tucked in an unassuming office building is North Carolina's first Urban Winery. Don't let the outside (though lovely... it's not what you'd expect when imagining walking

cary nc realtors: Cary, NC Real Estate Market Report July 2011 - 08/08/11 11:08 AM
Cary NC Housing Market Report - July 2011 It is HOT HOT HOT here in Cary, NC! Interestingly though... lawns don't seem to be suffering too badly, nor are our crepe myrtles! Cary has been a role model for towns around the nation for their management and conservation of water. The first town in North Carolina to supply reclaimed water to homes, Cary also maintains (through drought years and not) a watering schedule for residents lawns. The result? It seems lawns are trainable - and if taught early to need less water, can maintain a lushness even through harsh summers

cary nc realtors: Watering Responsibly - 06/12/11 08:13 AM
Cary, NC continues to be a role model to other towns on how they manage the supply of water. Believe it or not, water does not have a never-ending supply. Cary, NC town leadership has understood this for decades and are leaps and bounds ahead of most other towns in the United States on water management and conservation. Remember the Wake County water crisis in 2008? Do you know who already had a plan implemented... Cary, NC. in 2001 Cary was the first town in North Carolina to supply
