CONGRATULATIONS TO RALEIGH, NC!! The experts at Forbes.com last week named Raleigh, NC the #11th Most Affordable City in America! Cities were chosen based on a number of factors, calling for those locations offering the most "advantageous deal". Criteria was primarily focused on the combination of affordable real estate, a healthy ratio of income to living costs, and the relative strength of the local economies.

Look who's moving in or expanding in the Triangle/Raleigh NC area: We hear so much about the down side of the economy and jobs lost that I thought it might be nice share some good news for a change. Move over New York, Chicago and LA - here we come! Raleigh has it in the bag! Portfolio.com just named us the "#1 major metropolitan market that offers the best quality of life in the United States". Thank you Portfolio.com and Bizjournal!! We've done it again!

Forbes has ranked Raleigh NC the 3rd best place in the country for business and careers! Forbes rated 200 large metropolitan areas on things like the cost of doing business, the percentage of the population with higher levels of learning and degrees (we've got a lot of smart people living here!), and four other growth factors.
We're happy to have made the list this year! It's been a tough year all the way across the country hasnt' it? But here in the Triangle we're seeing many indications that we're on the move upward...

I thought one of the first things I need to write about is Raleigh NC... or the Triangle as it's often called. Since our moving here over 12 years ago we've seen a lot changes. As a Realtor - we've seen a lot of potential! It's not hard to see why once you start to look around and read all of the articles, accolades etc bestowed on this area. In Wake County alone some 60-90 people a day move here. We've started listing subdivisions on our website to give visitors a better feel for what they can expect around the Triangle.
