The last half of 2010, sure looked different from the first half of the year for Triangle Home Staging & Design. With every proposal we send to prospective clients, we provide our most recent Companies Statics (by area) for them to see how we are doing, it's our report card. Our average DOM (Days on Market) for the first half of 2010 was 49 days, up from 40 DOM for 2009. Not a bad showing all in all, but not a significant change. I am always looking for solutions to reduce the cost of accessorizing without compromising the look that I want. There seems to be certain things that I buy over and over again and I hate spending the money on. Decorative Soaps for one is a must have, but at $3.99 a bar at best, I think it's too expensive. A high profile Realtor called me to consult with her about one of her properties. She was about to list a home, but she could not figure out how one of the rooms should function. She has been in Real Estate for 22 years and has a great eye for things, but the awkward design of this room was very Confusing.
