sahuarita: Market Slow Down or Not? - 04/15/08 08:28 PM

Is it me or has the market really picked up in the last couple of weeks? Honestly I was expecting a slow down as many of our winter visitors pack up and head home to cold country. But, that has not been the case, we have had many offers, some of them a tad on the low side, but offers none the less.
What are my fellow Southern Arizonians seeing? This spring has been very encouraging to our sellers.

sahuarita: Strong 3 months of the year in Green Valley area. - 04/09/08 12:42 PM

March finished strong in the Green Valley, Sahuarita and Amado, Arizona. We saw 127 homes go to the sale pending status and 7 pieces of land sell in the month of March. Those numbers equate to approx. 10% of current inventory. Even though these numbers are down from last year we saw a willing, but cautious buyers. Buyers here seem to be really taking there time and looking at the homes they are interested in multiple times before they decide to offer.

We have been very busy the first month and half of the new year. Many new listings and new sales following fast. Listed one property, sale pending 4 days later, nice. Working on another new listing and a potential sale. We have definitely picked up this in comparison to the end of 2007. … (6 comments)

Down here in the warmth of Southern Arizona, specifically in the Green Valley and Sahuarita Arizona markets we started the new year off with a bang. MLS wide we posted 68 properties as "Sales Pending" that's in comparison to 245 (28%) "New" listings and 1,178 (6%) total homes for sale in the area.
February is looking good too. Sometimes we can let the negative news from the press overwelm our thought process. I don't know about you but I am very please what I am seeing so far for 2008 here in Green Valley and Sahuarita Az.
