It could be what is hot for the next couple of years. I mean if the economy doesn't go back to the way it was, which I think we all know it won't.
Just think prices on vacant land have not dropped that much, why? Because at the end of the day no matter how bad it gets you will always have something real in land. It seems like every transaction with every realtor in our area is getting tougher and tougher. My last experience with a local firm in Wisconsin Dells just blew me away.
If you have ever had someone shop your offer to other potential buyers it really ticks you off. Its really bad when they actually disclose parts of the offer in order to generate more interest. In my situation they actually stopped presenting my counter offers. Not much you can do unless they lose their buyer in the process which would no doubt get the seller exteremely angry.

Wisconsin Dells Real Estate Sinks to a New Low I stopped in to my office on Saturday and was talking to Barbie who is a great agent and good friend. She was telling me about how a local agent had "jumped" her listing by telling the seller that First Weber does not sell anyone else's listings and if they want theirs sold they will have to list with them. Well I can honestly tell you I have lived through the worst two single disasters in Lake Delton's history. First the fire the took my home in 2006 and now the lake has breached and eroded its own bank, destroying homes and removing the water from the lake.
I can assure you that this community will survive and its people may pull closer because of this catastrophic event.

Wow back from a very short vacation in AZ. It was a lot of fun to go out there with 8 of my friends.
Back to work now with much more market activity than I expected to see when I got back.
