Mike and I have been receiving a lot of inquiries regarding the moratorium on non-judicial foreclosure since the new law was passed recently. The law was passed when it was discovered that lien holders were foreclosing on property that they didn't even own. How could this happen you ask? Well, the mortgage market packages loans and resells them to investors. This can happen over and over again and when this does sometimes the processing of paperwork doesn't catch up with what is going on. For example, Bank 1 owns the mortgage and sells it to Lien-Holder 2 who in turn sells
