hawaii homes for sale: Oahu Real Estate - 02/14/10 07:18 PM
Weekly Interest Rate Snapshot- Interest rates have improved a bit with the news that China will tighten its bank lending to slow the country's economic growth and stave off inflation. International Stocks didn't like the news, which helps interest rates. Retail Sales in January rose higher than expected however, economists need to see a positive trend over a few months before believing the consumers are spending again. The connection to the Real Estate Market Today? Home inventories are dropping, especially those that are are not distress sales- short sales, lender sales, REOs, foreclosures- and prices for the most part are steady.

hawaii homes for sale: Oahu Real Estate Tax Credits = Free Money For Buyers and Sellers - 02/04/10 06:41 PM
This new year is taking off at a run. With the Home Buyer Credits giving buyers an incentive to buy, the real estate market is really taking off. Finding the right property and getting an accepted offer before the deadline of April 30, 2010 has caused a fervor. This credit is not just benefiting buyers but sellers as well. "How" you ask? Well, if you have some equity in your home, which means you may have bought approximately 10+ years ago and or you put down a large down payment, you could possibly qualify for the Step Up Program. Not many

hawaii homes for sale: Has the Real Estate Market Hit the Bottom??? - 07/27/09 11:12 PM
Have we found the bottom of the Housing Market? Well for the third month in a row, sales of new homes have increased. Last month sales were up 11% and as many “economy watchers” look on, the news is a welcomed sign of things to come. We have to stop here to mention that each area of the country is different and National Numbers often hold little clout in regional sales figures, but never the less, this is great news. Here in Honolulu, the real estate market has been a “mixed bag” for some time. Some areas of Oahu have been

hawaii homes for sale: Hawaii Real Estate, Lower Sales Price vs. Intrest Rates - 06/09/09 10:39 PM
Everyone Wants a Lower Price, But What About the Impact of Interest Rates? When shopping for a home, the natural tendency of any buyer is to want to pay the lowest price possible. It's important to keep in mind, however, that the sales price is not the only factor that determines what the monthly payment will be. In fact, the impact of higher interest rates can easily nullify any benefit of waiting for a lower price. Why Should I Rush to Buy? While you may have heard discussions in the media about the decline of property values in many markets, the

Welcome to Hawaii Realty Group and Market Chat. I would like to start by welcoming you to Market Chat at the Hawaii Realty Group. Market chat pulls information from the Honolulu Board of Realtors and every day experiences from the Hawaii Real Estate Market. The facts were correct but the information was totally wrong. They reported that Hawaii's, more to the point Honolulu's,

I love to drive. As a Realtor I get to drive EVERYWHERE! I average about 30,000 miles a year and this is all on a little Island in the middle of the Pacific. Being a Realtor in Honolulu is a BLAST! Rainbows, Sunshine, Lunch sitting on a wall overlooking the surf at Diamond Head, Happy Warm and Friendly People...the list could go on and on. I have also come to love Audio Books. Traffic is also a part of my day so I sit there, make the calls I need to make, and Cheer like a Mad Man for
