Only four quarterbacks in 54 years have been named Sports Illustrated "Sportsman of the Year" - this year it's Brett Favre of the Green Bay Packers.  Catch the story at SI here.

Our main website is an Alamode XSite, and it's been a good one for non-tech people like Bill and me (Actually, we know enough tech to know we don't know anything, so we stay clear.)  Pretty customizable and the server has NEVER been down. 
We don't work for Alamode, but we thought we'd pass this along to you.  We received an email a few minutes ago announcing  for new and existing customers a FREE Real Estate Agent "Standard" website.  It's not a stripped-down site, either, like some brochure sites - it's pretty loaded.

As exactly five of you may know (my commenting compliment), my home was recently inspected as a sales contingency and I reported my concerns in For Your Vexation Get a Home Inspection.  While everything seems to have been rectified - it's amazing what throwing cash at a problem will accomplish - I still was a bit unsettled by the experience.  In fact, in my own OCD way, I wouldn't let it go and even more questions came up.

With the April 17th Federal Income Tax deadline looming as a reminder, "taxes" in all forms moves to the forefront of our minds.  Property tax in particular is becoming a major issue in Florida (although I think insurance should).  No one is certain as how to get rising taxes under control - the massive real estate appreciation of the first five years of this century didn't help a bit -
