TRILLION DOLLAR FINANCIAL FIASCO.......NO ONE INDICTED...? - 12/21/10 10:04 AM
For quite some time now, we have seen the economy spit out its problems and the most traveled path that keeps forming points to the banks and the regulators of our financial corporate structure (Wall Street). These powerful entities and the men that command them remain hidden and unexposed to the public at large. Instead....
MOST OFTEN USED CRIMINAL DEFENSE....STALL FOR TIME
We get reports about local scammers, Real Estate Ponzi schemes and rogue brokers caught at random. Is this suppose to quell or quiet our pursuit of the real culprits..? Perhaps the public will be distracted long enough for time … (10 comments)

BANK OF AMERICA.....needs new leadership at the top - 12/14/10 10:19 AM
As you travel through life, often we are asked or forced to choose a side on something. Politics, religion, abortion, gay rights, taxes, and other similar subjects that require a side also come with a argument. Then, you may find yourself having to defend or accede your position...
I have had 3 plus years to study Bank of America under pressure handle their policies, procedures and interactions with the public and the government regulators, Wall Street and investors. I have nothing good to say about this institution. In fact, it should no longer be allowed to use the name "America" in … (8 comments)

Utility sinks or Laundry Room sinks....very handy to have - 12/13/10 12:22 PM
I have lived in homes, rented homes and sold homes where there was a utility sink either in the garage, laundry room or even outside. You can live without it, but if you have one, it comes in very handy. Many times I have used one and was always thankful for it
VALUABLE TOOL
If you work around the home, you will know what I mean. I wash my paint brushes in them, rinse off my hands constantly, clean large items, soak things, and fill countless buckets of soap and water for various tasks. I prefer the deep, rectangular ones with … (7 comments)

FREE CONSULTATIONS......everyone........ WINS - 12/05/10 10:49 AM
I am always looking for ways to market myself and to keep the money queue active and flowing. We all know the traditional ways to advertise and market ourselves...I have always made myself available to answer questions. That has probably accounted for 90% of my business....over the years
IF YOU GOT SAVVY....SAY SO...
Now, more than ever, the Real Estate industry is becoming more of a business where experience and know how not only pays off, but becomes the new demand....This is an excellent time for the Real Estate vets and pros to toot their horns...(if you got one)

OVERPRICED LISTING SAYS...make us an offer... - 12/03/10 10:16 AM
I am shopping for land parcels for my builder/developer contacts and came across a potential 20 unit site in my neck of the woods. It is zoned for condo's, but it is only in the conceptual or drawing stages. You still have to submit quite a few things and go through the different departments for their input.
Mind you, they require professional submittals and you have the expense of an architect and engineer all up front. These two stay on until done because the feedback you get will require changes and re-submittals..sometimes many times over...
We still haven't go to the … (6 comments)

Congress Wont Extend Unemployment...? Let's All Take Turns Going Without - 12/02/10 01:44 PM
What is with that...? The subject requires no IQ what so ever. You don't even have to meet on the subject. Millions of people are relying on unemployment until job grow is spurred on. Until then, this is the only source of income for many.
By now, you may realize how everything is interconnected to everything else. It is complex and one something fails, it pulls down several other things at the same time...
People need income to pay bills...Bills go to pay for services and for people who supply those services.
Retailers across the Nation are depending on spending to … (8 comments)

CHECK YOUR POTS & PANS..... - 12/02/10 01:03 PM
I was making my daily oatmeal breakfast the other day. It has to be stirred constantly so that it heats evenly and of course doesn't stick to the pot or pan...I then noticed something that gave me a little start......The edges around the bottom of the pot were worn away....
So the rest of the pot was its usual black self with these intermittent spots. The coating or Teflon was coming off in places and then it hit me...Have I been eating Teflon...? Immediately you start to wonder if this stuff is ingested, does it show up as cancer 10 years … (10 comments)

The Greatest Bank Robbery Of All Time - 12/01/10 10:03 AM
It is no secret that when pursuing organized crime, law enforcement seeks the top figures...to cut the head off the beast so to speak. Well, John has correctly identified banks  as being perpetrators of mass robbery and deception......Judge for yourself and read on.....
Via John Mulkey, Housing Guru (TheHousingGuru.com):
(With apologies for length)
Willie Sutton, the famed bank robber of the 1930’s and 40’s once made the statement, "Go where the money is...and go there often," and though his lifetime take was said to be as much as $2 million, Sutton was a mere amateur.  His crimes are dwarfed by those of today’s … (6 comments)

DON'T JUST SIT THERE....come up with an idea..... - 12/01/10 09:39 AM
I want to remind people that in addition to working at your regular position of endeavor or even if you are unemployed....this country encourages being innovative. If you have ever copy righted or filed a patent, you get a closer view on what it is like to take an idea forward....
Everyone once in a while, I always remind myself of the following.....
Coke a cola........first the reality of it....All it is...is sugar water......Multi-billion dollar idea based on flavored water...How much more simpler can you get than that..?
Chewing Gum.....all this is..... is rubber taken from a rubber tree (yes, rubber … (7 comments)

One of my Favorite meals......What's Yours....? - 12/01/10 08:52 AM
I just finished eating something that bears repeating via a post.....It is nothing new, but if done correctly can add up to one of life's little pleasures...It's tasty, filling, smells good while cooking, looks good and does satisfy the inner cave-man or woman craving for the basics...
A SAUSAGE SANDWICH
Stay with me here. I was raised in a Jewish Italian neighborhood. The Italians have a strict and devoted love for a good bread...a crispy bread even called an Italian bread...It is hard on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside. It has the flavor of a deep, rich … (6 comments)
