When I was in public school which was grades 1-6, they had a weekly assembly of the whole school. It was very well organized and carried out. A signal bell would go off in the class rooms and that told the teacher to have us stand and then proceed single file out the door following her single file.

I saw a video the other day of little little kids singing in an auditorium. It brought back memories. Who didn't sing at school in groups when they were growing up? What I laughed about was on the parts between the chorus, the kids were mouthing the words or substituting humming or what they thought it was with noises...

The other day I was walking along when a young woman stranger approaching me who was whistling a tune...one of my favorites. It was from the Wizard of OzĀ  and it goes.....Ha - ha - ha, Ho - ho - ho - And a couple of tra - la - las...That's how we laugh the day away, In the Merry Old Land of Oz!
