waste: GOVERNMENT DO YOUR JOB! - 06/12/17 05:30 PM
Perhaps the government doesn't know what their job is? There are so many real issues that anyone who is an American can recite without hesitation that it makes you wonder. The wonder part is if they know about these things and have been hired to represent "the people", then the next step is updates followed by results. But that is not happening...
ONE DISTRACTION AFTER ANOTHER
Its not like there is a shortage of problems to go around either. The question begs; why do we add to the long list unnecessarily? Why not solve a few and keep the list manageable? Apply this to your … (8 comments)

waste: TIME TO WASTE? - 08/30/16 02:40 AM
Time is certainly money in the world of business. Why? Because when doing business, if you don't attend to your business, a rule pops up. Run your business or it will run you. What is necessary is to spend the time so that the return is guaranteed and the outcome predictable. Wasting time in the business world is literally at work. Waste is most appropriate word too.
WASTE DEFINED: To spend carelessly or extravagantly or to no purpose. This will do nicely for this post
TIME THE MAIN INGREDIENT
First let us all pay high respect to time for it is a gift and has its own rules … (4 comments)

waste: TAKE THE TIME TO KNOW WHAT TIME IT IS - 06/23/14 12:25 AM
Stop and think about it. Give this subject some respect too. Time is something that when your out of it, its gone! Can't refill, do over, or negotiate the subject matter. Furthermore, when it decides to stop being so generous, it doesn't check in with you. Time is freely given but is not under a promise of any sort
THIS IS SOBERING
The only time guaranteed to anyone is the very moment you are in. The mind counters this with thoughts that take us into past, present and future journeys, distractions and occupations but time has the final say so. Now we cannot manipulate or … (2 comments)

waste: THE GARBAGE DISPOSAL DIDN'T EAT EVERYTHING UP - 01/19/14 11:24 PM
I can remember when homes did not have a garbage disposal but instead a little trash can to empty out the plate and prep residue. Eventually it was prudent to have one installed at some point. Then, it became mainstream. They came with installation instructions and a little wrench too. What they didn't go into detail about but people would find out is...
ITS NOT A TURBINE ENGINE
Do not put certain things in them or they wont function very well. Now I took this to mean that if you should get the biggest one out there and then your troubles are over. … (10 comments)

waste: THE VALUE OF TIME IS PRICELESS - 03/24/13 12:26 AM
We live life by schedules. We have routines and we follow them. It starts innocently enough when we first get out of bed. From there, we don't stop until we end up in bed again. In between, we spend TIME. One of the most valuable and underrated as well as misspent dynamics known to man
WAIT-UP!
First off, TIME waits for no one....NO ONE! The clock is ticking while you are sleeping, thinking or making hay. It is not something that we spend wisely either. Maybe that is because TIME is spread out over TIME.
WHO YOU?
It is not a … (8 comments)

waste: CONGRESS NEEDS TO SING THE HI HO ITS OFF TO WORK WE GO SONG - 03/14/13 04:18 AM
I am speaking to the governmental people who have gotten cushy life jobs or commitments and practice doing nothing all day. We can start with Congress. You see they have nothing to worry about because their now (present) and their future is guaranteed. Consequently the drive to the cutting edge, the going the extra mile, the digging deep to find the treasures, and working hard for others are not at play.
SNOW WHITE AND THE SEVEN DWARFS
I am thinking of the seven dwarfs who worked in the diamond mine every day. This is their mantra and they sang it … (0 comments)

waste: DOES THE $84 MILLION DOLLARS COME WITH A BUSINESS PLAN? - 10/05/12 11:51 PM
I call a major Retail shopping center which just sold for $84 million dollars and has large anchor tenants plus movie theater to get data on their space and leasing requirements. No live people available and the recorder comes on and you push this or that to address your needs. LISTEN CAREFULLY you are told as the instructions are explained. If you mess up, the STAR key gives you another chance.
SORRY...PLAY AGAIN...push the star key now
Okay, I figure it out and push the one I think it is. EHHHHH. Wrong choice. But I have the star key to fall back … (2 comments)

waste: DOCUSIGN GOING PAPERLESS CONTEST...my two centavos - 09/07/12 02:38 AM
Many times over the years, I always saw the enormous amounts of paper not only being used in the moment, but afterwards when you had to file them and then store them for years. Remember, the Real Estate profession requires you keep copies and so does the IRS. So, paper was a means to an end and continues to be necessary?
PAPER RUNS THE SHOW
I don't like doing paperwork. However, if you have ever been to court, the whole justice system is run on paper and the lack of it which would be proof or compliance is crucial to successfully … (6 comments)

waste: ARROGANCE OF IT ALL over priced REAL ESTATE LISTING - 08/03/12 12:25 AM
I just recently was offered a listing on some land and it was presented to me like the owner was doing me a favor. Okay, I can appreciate a favor, some business and a chance to work out my skills and talents and put another notch on my Real Estate belt. I was briefed, asked a few questions and then started my research in regards to this business proposition
SHORT TERM AND OVER-PRICED
Now things were starting to make sense. I wasn't sure why the owner of this home was so distant, appeared to be arrogant and vague until my data … (5 comments)

waste: PENNY WISE AND POUND FOOLISH IS REAL - 06/30/12 12:16 AM
There are people who are good stewards of what they come into contact with. I have worked with many of the best. They appear to be cheap, but in real life they are being frugal. It is easy to spend money and not account for it. It is like wasting food in a sense. Anyone can do it, but why would you want to?
HOW MUCH $$$  ?
There is a time to spend money and a time to consider the opposite dynamic. I have seen products that under close examination are not worth what is being asked. Just take a moment … (13 comments)

waste: MOVING WITH A PURPOSE STILL ATTRACTIVE TO BEHOLD - 09/05/11 09:13 AM
When you see someone on a mission i.e. going from point A to point B, it makes sense. You see we were not put here to just wander aimlessly doing nothing. Look around you and you see all forms of life moving with purpose. How much more then should the most intelligent life on this planet move? We need to set the example and hold to it
CONGRESS YOU MOVE, BUT NOT WITH A PURPOSE
Congress should meet to settle and not settle until they have solved all issues. have food brought in, water dispersed and doors locked except for bathrooms. … (0 comments)

waste: WHEN THINGS GO RIGHT...NO PROBLEM. WHEN THINGS GO WRONG...WELL - 03/03/11 10:13 AM
I am referring to how much waste there is not only government and there is tons of waste there, but in the states, counties, and cities throughout the United States. The leaders in each given situation are so involved in getting elected so that they can do the job that they forget what the job is
I am thinking of Gadafi right now. Here is a guy that rose to the top of his country and held it for years. He even has a guaranteed income from oil wells. So why is everyone in that country desperate and unhappy?
Same with … (2 comments)

waste: THE VALUE OF BIRD DROPPINGS........drop by anytime..... - 11/10/10 01:08 AM
Okay....if this happens to your car, it is not good. In fact, you better remove bird dropping right away as it stains and eats through paint. Also, I once pulled in a fast food place to order and walked from my car to the building. half way through, a flock of birds flew over and bombed me in their droppings. I was drenched in them....
HERE IS THE POINT OF THE POST
It is the good droppings, the ones that birds go about dropping at random that benefit us in ways that we take for granted. I have trees, bushes and … (7 comments)

waste: MINTED COINS....PRESIDENT OBAMA...ELIMINATE THEM AND...SAVE $$$$ - 08/16/10 02:05 AM
I originally wanted to do a post on the subject of how expensive it is to have and use coins and it led me to realize how the government spends (and acts) irresponsibly. Then, there was so much data on the subject matter and I wanted to keep it short for a post. So, I am leaving a lot out, combining TWO points and leaving enough room for comments......
What it costs to make the following:
PENNIES.......to make a penny or 1.38 cents...........NICKLES......to make a nickel or 8.83 cents
To manufacture the pennies and nickels per year causes a loss $100 … (17 comments)
