Perhaps the government doesn't know what their job is? There are so many real issues that anyone who is an American can recite without hesitation that it makes you wonder. The wonder part is if they know about these things and have been hired to represent "the people", then the next step is updates followed by results. But that is not happening... ONE DISTRACTION AFTER ANOTHER Its not like there is a shortage of problems to go around either. The question begs; why do we add to the long list unnecessarily? Time is certainly money in the world of business. Why? Because when doing business, if you don't attend to your business, a rule pops up. Run your business or it will run you. What is necessary is to spend the time so that the return is guaranteed and the outcome predictable. Wasting time in the business world is literally at work. Waste is most appropriate word too. Stop and think about it. Give this subject some respect too. Time is something that when your out of it, its gone! Can't refill, do over, or negotiate the subject matter. Furthermore, when it decides to stop being so generous, it doesn't check in with you. I can remember when homes did not have a garbage disposal but instead a little trash can to empty out the plate and prep residue. Eventually it was prudent to have one installed at some point. Then, it became mainstream. They came with installation instructions and a little wrench too. What they didn't go into detail about but people would find out is... We live life by schedules. We have routines and we follow them. It starts innocently enough when we first get out of bed. From there, we don't stop until we end up in bed again. I am speaking to the governmental people who have gotten cushy life jobs or commitments and practice doing nothing all day. We can start with Congress. You see they have nothing to worry about because their now (present) and their future is guaranteed. I call a major Retail shopping center which just sold for $84 million dollars and has large anchor tenants plus movie theater to get data on their space and leasing requirements. No live people available and the recorder comes on and you push this or that to address your needs. LISTEN CAREFULLY you are told as the instructions are explained. Many times over the years, I always saw the enormous amounts of paper not only being used in the moment, but afterwards when you had to file them and then store them for years. I just recently was offered a listing on some land and it was presented to me like the owner was doing me a favor. Okay, I can appreciate a favor, some business and a chance to work out my skills and talents and put another notch on my Real Estate belt. There are people who are good stewards of what they come into contact with. I have worked with many of the best. They appear to be cheap, but in real life they are being frugal. It is easy to spend money and not account for it. It is like wasting food in a sense. Anyone can do it, but why would you want to? HOW MUCH $$$ ? I am referring to how much waste there is not only government and there is tons of waste there, but in the states, counties, and cities throughout the United States. The leaders in each given situation are so involved in getting elected so that they can do the job that they forget what the job is I am thinking of Gadafi right now. Okay....if this happens to your car, it is not good. In fact, you better remove bird dropping right away as it stains and eats through paint. Also, I once pulled in a fast food place to order and walked from my car to the building. half way through, a flock of birds flew over and bombed me in their droppings. I was drenched in them.... I originally wanted to do a post on the subject of how expensive it is to have and use coins and it led me to realize how the government spends (and acts) irresponsibly. Then, there was so much data on the subject matter and I wanted to keep it short for a post. So, I am leaving a lot out, combining TWO points and leaving enough room for comments......
