I apologize for the length of this blog but I have a lot of great info to share! According to the 2008 NAR Profile of International Buyers, North America, Europe and Asia accounted for more than 85 percent of foreign home buying transactions between May 2007 and May 2008. Six countries accounted for the majority of international purchasers. The top six countries of origin for foreign home buyers were: Canada The United Kingdom Mexico China India Germany Canada and the U.K. accounted for 36.1 percent of purchasers.
