seminar: Renew Your License, Get a Short Sale Update and there's No Test Required! - 02/11/10 02:06 PM
The Realtors Association of the Palm Beaches has just added 2 weekend 14 hour Florida License Renewal courses in February and March in additiona to the already scheduled classes!  The courses are 2 days from 9:00am-5:00pm and do not require a test to pass. 
There's always the option of taking the class online or with a book and that's just fine...if you don't want to learn anything.  The benefit of having a live instructor, besides the obvious plus of not having to take a test, is that you will actually LEARN!  The instrcutors are going to go over real life … (0 comments)

Here at the Realtors Association of the Palm Beach we have TONS of Great Classes, Seminars and Events and we only have a few options of getting the word out to our 8,500 members; email, website calendar, monthly newsletter, now ActiveRain Blog and fliers up at all 3 of our locations. 
The problem is no one ever seems to read anything but of course they are quick to complain that they "Never knew we were having that event or class".   
You can lead a horse to water but you can't get him to drink!
My question is:

Changes in the past several months from Fannie Mae have forced Lenders to implement
"Declining Market Policies". 
These new policies have significant implications on Realtors® when developing a CMA and require  Appraisers to meet minimum standards when establishing the market value of a property.   
 Failure to meet any of the Lenders establishe guidelines will:
·           Negatively impact getting the mortgage approved in a timely manner.
·          Could result in higher costs.
·          Or outright rejection on the loan!
