Out prospecting today and run into a young lady who says "Oh....you're in real estate...take a look at this file."  She hands me her file and inside I see a two page contract, one 2yr balloon note for $100K+ written in two pages, and a second $8000 note for 4months also written in two pages, all signed in 2009 and one Deed of Trust for the first mortgage.  She says the seller is bugging her about the $8000 which she has not paid.  She was supposed to give them her tax refund when she got it back.   I asked her what she … (0 comments)

According to the US Census bureau Texas has 5 of the 11 fastest growing cities in the country between 2000 and 2009.
New York City was the fastest growing city in the US during that time.
Coming in at:
2.   Houston4.   San Antonio5.   Fort Worth9.   Austin11. Dallas
Growth continues.... I'm getting more and more calls from people from Florida, Michigan, Indiana, and Ohio.   That is a change when most of the moves used to come from Nevada and California.
Come on down....great weather, great food, great diversity, great housing prices, plenty of jobs, and SUPER low interest rates.
