Recently, I have been taking more general photos of the White Plains downtown area. I'm often surprised at the clash of architectural styles. Although the headline in The Journal News appeared somewhat pessimistic, ( Big Plans, ‘Change With Times’) the details revealed the long-term optimism in the housing market by large developers with respect to Westchester County. This blog was influenced by a blog by Teresa Boardman on the St. Paul Skyways. Teresa was talking about taking an “indoor walk” in the St. Paul Skyways which extend for an amazing five miles. Looking at the map, it is very impressive. Truly, St. Paul needs something of this nature (0 comments)

Lighthouse Landing – the proposed development in question located on roughly 100 acres of prime real estate along the Hudson River in Westchester County. The site features breathtaking river views including that of the Kingsland Point Light House and the Tappan Zee Bridge. The site is also full of lead contamination (3 comments)
