Ode to a Team Leader - 05/30/07 10:09 PM
Darin resigned as team leader. When I returned from Washington DC after a week trip, I returned to find we had a new team leader.
Was I surprised? Yes, Am i upset? NO. I honestly didn't think his style of leadership suited the job. But here is the thing. I am so happy that he spent a year in our office. First, he has discovered Keller Williams and all of the magic the company has. Second, He spent a year of his life giving his time and energy to any of us who were wanting to receive. National Mid Year Meetings for CRS in Washington DC - 05/26/07 10:29 PM
I just returned back from Washington and had to report that I feel that the organization is a winner.
The 50,000 strong group has a very cumbersome bureaucracy and at times seems so full of red tape and procedures, but I will give them full credit. It is working.
They have a great staff and the leadership team are putting on some new programs.
Including, Member connect, a web site where members can find out all sorts of info. An online forum coming soon. Online classes called E learning.

I just had the pleasure to watch Al Gore's "Inconvenient truth" and I would highly recommend it.
The purpose of this blog is to encourage everyone to see it. Even if you are skeptical, you don't have to believe it all! It answers all of the common arguments put up by the anti-environment crowd.
Here are some things I was not aware of!

Madison, Wi. Market Summary 2006-7 Madison East and West - 05/01/07 10:11 PM
The figures are for sales of single family homes in Madison in quarters, homes priced between $100,000 and $500,000
Notice how number of home sales are down, days on Market are up, so homes are taking longer. Average prices are down too. With an exception that West stats improved in early 2007. One thing, these stats can not give us a trend for this year. Even the latest figures take into 4 month old data.

So I took a few days off. My father is in town from England and I have tried to be a good son. First thing to go was Active Rain. I swore off for a whole week!!
Unfortunately, I got busy. Not just the good kind of Vacation busy, but insane!!!!!
From Friday to Monday, we sorted out 2 inspections, and got 5 sides accepted, on 4 homes. To some that is normal, to me that is insane, but it can keep going all the same, who said it is a bad, or slow market?
