Oh, the dreaded&nbsp;darkness;&nbsp;not being able to see dark blue vs black. Looking up, I saw the high ceiling.&nbsp; The first thought I had was, "Rats,&nbsp;effort will be required to change the bulb. I need a ladder."&nbsp;Not owning a ladder&nbsp;I resigned myself to the fact that I must address this later, get a ladder and change the bulb. I'd have to unscrew the little screws and suffer&nbsp;all the little dead flying creatures falling into my&nbsp;hair and face to reach a resolution to this&nbsp;situation. Yuk.&nbsp; The negative thoughts continued.&nbsp;</p> <p>The next day&nbsp;I went into my closet and hit the light switch. Oops, burnt out light bulb. But I already knew that. It was soon a week since&nbsp;I had told myself I would change that bulb. But the bugs, the ladder. Ugh. Effort! Another evening became&nbsp;daylight and I&nbsp;resigned myself to using&nbsp;the additional light in the outer room to illuminate the closet. Although I knew I could not see clearly I had accepted the darkness. As I stepped out of the&nbsp;closet&nbsp;wearing&nbsp;the blue pants and the black non-matching jacket, I began to giggle at my own laziness that had resulted in the awful outfit.
