NAHREP Take Action to Regain Latino Home-buyers Trust - 10/29/07 09:14 AM
On Sept. 18, 2007 The National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP) announced at its national convention its new Code of Trust (En Confianza). En Confianza will become the ethical principles by which NAHREP's members are required to conduct business. It will ensured that all clients including the Latino community will be served with respect and honesty.
"A perfect storm of shrinking values and current credit crunch threatens to undermine the steady homeownership gains our community has made in the past 20 years," said NAHREP's President and CEO Tim Sandos.

AmeriDream Granted Extension on HUD Rule!‏ - 10/22/07 08:22 AM
At the request of AmeriDream, HUD has voluntarily agreed today that the HUD rule banning seller-funded down payment assistance will not be effective with respect to AmeriDream until February 29, 2008. HUD will recognize all applications that have a signed sales contract prior to the effective date according to Congressional testimony provided by HUD. This agreement applies only to AmeriDream.
