The inventory of homes for sale in Orlando usually goes down at the end of the month as listings expire or are withdrawn. Usually they bounce back up within a couple of days, but they are staying lower so far this month. Total contracts continue to rise, and are approaching 3,500.

The day is not finished, and we have broken the 1,000 sales mark for the month of May. There will probably be another 200 sales posted in the MLS. With the 1,041 closed sales in the books so far, the median sales price is actually just a tad higher than April

There was an interesting article in the Orlando Sentinel today about high tech jobs in Florida. I would love to see the stats for Orlando specifically, but the numbers were for the whole state. We rank #4 in the nation for the number of high tech jobs, but #31 in concentration.
