The Woods is a wonderful place to live....I know that because my husband and I live here. It is truly care free living. No lawn mowing, no snow shoveling, no leaves to rake and no gutters to clean. Tivoli, New York, is a beautiful little village located in the northwest part of the Town Red Hook in Northern Dutchess County, in the Mid Hudson River Valley. The region was settled in the late 1600's by the Dutch under the Schuyler Patent. The village of Tivoli was formerly known as Upper Red Hook Landing.
