On a hot summer day, what better way is there to cool off than attend an ice cream social?  The good residents of Kellswater Bridge in Kannapolis NC held one this past Saturday at the pool.
 
 
 

 
There were so many flavors and toppings to choose from.  My son had chocolate ice cream sans the toppings.  My two daughters had vanilla with every topping offered...chocolate syrup, nuts, M&Ms, crushed Oreos, and so much more.  As for me, I opted for the chocolate/vanilla swirl with crushed Oreos, whipped cream and a cherry.

Afton Village is a unique area of Concord with Condos, Townhomes and a wide array of houses that range from 1300 sq. ft. to 5000+ sq. ft.
This master planned community has a wine room, fine dining, fast food, a park with walking trails, soccer fields, playgrounds, and retail and professional businesses all within a short walk which makes this Concord neighborhood a destination for many.

Went out for an early dinner with the wife and kids the other day.  Not really
knowing what we wanted to eat, we headed down I85 south toward
Charlotte in search of what looked good. 
There, in the distance, rising above the trees like a beacon was the sign.  It
