As real estate agents it is easy to get caught up in the emotions of the transaction. We give our all to our clients. What Real Estate Agents Do We work hard helping our clients find just the right property that meets their needs. We promote our listings with print and Internet marketing to get them sold as soon as possible. As real estate agents we painstakingly negotiate the initial offer and home inspection items, all while trying to keep all parties concerned calm and focused on moving forward. We have all heard the questions... "We've lived here for 10 years and never had water in the basement until that really bad storm last year. Do we have to disclose that?" "The fireplace can't be used because it needs a new liner, but it was like that when we bought it. Do we have to disclose that?" "We had a fire several years ago, but as you can see...it's like a brand new house. Do we have to disclose that?" People, Please Manage Your Children - 06/12/12 05:54 AM
I love children, I really do. I love them so much that I had three of them. But what I don't love is parents who can't manage their children! We Have A Responsibility To The Seller As real estate agents we have enough risk to manage without having to deal with our clients' children. As professionals we are partially responsible for what happens in a house while we are in it. The listing agent will definitely give us a call if anything in the house comes up broken or missing in the time frame in which we are showing it. Why

Buyers and Sellers Will Resolve Their Issues - 06/06/12 06:32 AM
It's so easy for us as real estate professionals to get personally involved in the real estate transactionof our clients. After all, we have spent hours and hours meeting, driving and working with them and have formed, in most cases a type of bond. We are in a very close business relationship and therefore want to "protect" our clients. Don't Speak For Your Client However, as difficult as it may seem, we need to keep some space between us and our clients and remember, it's not about us.
