seller: Thank You, But I Don't Want Your Listing

I recently encountered a seller who had a great house, in a great location. Sounds like an ideal situation right? Let me also add that the seller knew more than me...at least he thought he did. That's fine, but let me give you a few more details. This particular seller had been involved in some aspect of real estate for over thirty years. Although he hadn't bought or sold in the past decade, he thought he knew everything there was to know about selling his house. While it was indeed a lovely house, it was very unique. I'm sure you are thinking that there is no such thing as the "perfect" seller. After all, no one is perfect. But what made this seller "perfect" this that she was great to work with. However, since I am a Realtor, I must give full disclosure...this was our third transaction together, so that may have had something to do with it. But in any event, I would like to tell you why I thought this seller was so wonderful and fabulous! 1. She was motivated.
