A common thread in many blogs is the deferential acknowledgement to the god of Customer Service. Of course, customer service is central to any realtor/broker/salesperson who wants to "get the deal". Clients EXPECT anyone in this business to be personable and professional. Nevertheless, clients want to do business with agents who deliver RESULTS. What sounds better: "Hi, I'd like your business because I'll give you great customer service" OR "Hi, I'd like your business because I'll get you faster RESULTS" To provide results, you need to provide motivation to: A) Move the property (for Realtors) B) Save money on the financing (for Mortgage originators). Are Sellers Ready to Consider an Auction Format to Sell Their Property??? - 02/05/09 03:27 PM
Just out of curiosity, can anyone say if sellers are less reticent about listing their home in an auction format??? As a Realtor, would an auction format be a viable selling method if you controlled the cost and conduct of the auction?? As in, hiring an auctioneer as you would a stager? In the past, auctions were not a mainstream way of selling, but that was then - and shunned by Realtors as well as sellers. Selling real estate in the traditional sense may return, but maybe too far into the future to provide a viable living for many sales agents. (3 comments)
