The CN Tower in Toronto is lit a bright orange tonight, in memory of Jack Layton, the Federal Leader of the opposition. He passed away on August 22nd, 2011 and the State funeral was held today.
 
I met Jack Layton, as a student at Ryerson, many years ago. He was one of those teachers, who I will remember all my life. One memory - is him taking all the students to City Council in the evening, and we sat there, like the councilors do ..... and we had a first-hand experience of what he was teaching.
