New In-Session Phishing Scam - 03/26/09 04:39 PM
Crooks and hacksters are always looking for new ways to trick you out of your information and money.  Here's their newest; "In-session Phishing" scams.  I recently learned about these scams from a trusted mortgage professional, Tom Ninness of Cherry Creek Mortgage here in Denver.
How do they work?  While you are on your bank's website, a pop-up appears with your bank's logo.  The pop-up asks for personal information about account numbers and passwords.  An example is a pop-up that tells you your session has expired and asks you to log-in again.
The bad guys are thinking of more and more ways … (1 comments)

An estimated 87% of people who want to buy a home use the internet to help find that home.  That percentage has been increasing every year for some time.  The segment of business that is probably responsible for the 4th largest number of searches on the internet is real estate.
The internet is becoming more and more important and useful when buying or selling a home and will continue to do so. More and more new websites are online every day that help buyers and sellers find homes, find a Realtor, learn about mortgages, get home valuation, etc.

Trends in the Denver Housing Market, March 9, 2009 - 03/09/09 06:24 PM
Trends in sold data, inventory data and under contract data for the Denver market for the last 6 years helps us to predict what 2009 will bring to Denver's housing market.
February sales have had a decline from 2006 to today.  2005 and 2006 were when the aggressive lending practices were plentiful and this helped to push the numbers of sold homes up to the high numbers you see in the chart.  Denver, however, did no experience such inflationary housing sales numbers as other markets in the country.  That is why surveys, like Standard and Poors/Case-Shiller Report, indicate Denver will … (1 comments)
